What PYT collects when you use this website or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written in plain language on purpose.
01Who we are
PYT is a brand of NOVEX GROUP SDN. BHD., a company incorporated in Malaysia with its address at No. 12A, Jalan Kebun Nenas 3N/KS8, Bandar Putera 2, 41200 Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. In this policy, "PYT", "we", "us" and "our" mean that company.
We are the data user responsible for the personal data described here, and we handle it in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (the "PDPA").

02What this policy covers
This policy covers pytofficial.co and any enquiry you send us through it — including a WhatsApp conversation that begins by tapping a button on this site.
It does not cover other companies’ websites we link to, or what WhatsApp, Google and Microsoft do with data under their own policies. Those are listed under "Who else sees your data" below.
03What we collect
What you give us. When you send an enquiry you provide your name and phone number; optionally your email address; your car’s make, model and year; and whatever you write in the message field. If you attach your cart, the list of parts and quantities goes with it.
What your browser sends automatically. Like every website, ours receives your IP address, device and browser type, screen size, the page that referred you, the pages you open and the time you open them.
What stays on your device. Your cart, the car you set, your catalogue view preference and a flag that stops the intro sequence replaying are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. They are listed under "Cookies and local storage" below.
What we never collect here. This site does not take payments. No card, bank or e-wallet details are ever entered on it.
04Analytics and session measurement
We use two measurement tools to understand how the site is used and where it frustrates people. Neither is used for advertising, and we do not sell what they collect.
Google Analytics, provided by Google, records visits: which pages are opened, how a visitor arrived, the device and browser used, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. Google processes this on our behalf as our service provider.
Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft, records how a page is actually used — pointer movement, taps, scrolling and clicks — and can replay an anonymised reconstruction of a session as well as aggregate it into heatmaps. Clarity masks the text you type into form fields by default, and we do not switch that masking off. We use it to find layout and usability problems, not to identify individuals.
Both tools set cookies in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site you visit.
05Cookies and local storage
Ours. Four items are written by this site and stay in your browser only: novex_cart_v1 (your cart), pyt_vehicle_v1 (the car you set), pyt_plp_view (grid or list view) and pyt_loader_seen (so the intro sequence plays once per visit rather than on every page). None of them identify you, and none reach us unless you attach your cart to an enquiry.
Theirs. Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga, which typically last up to two years. Microsoft Clarity sets cookies including _clck and _clsk, which typically last up to one year. Their exact names and lifetimes are set by the providers and can change.
You can delete or block all of these from your browser settings at any time. Blocking ours will empty your cart and reset your saved car; blocking theirs has no effect on how the site works.
06Why we use it
To answer your enquiry — quote a price, confirm the part fits your car, and tell you what is in stock.
To fulfil an order, arrange delivery, and handle a warranty claim or return afterwards.
To keep the business and tax records the law requires of us.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.
When you send us an enquiry you are consenting to us using your details for those purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see "Your rights" below.
07Who else sees your data
WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) carries the conversation when you contact us that way. Your message and phone number are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms.
Google receives enquiry details where our enquiry form records them to a Google form, and receives analytics data as described above.
Microsoft receives the session data collected by Clarity.
Netlify hosts this website, and its servers keep standard access logs.
Delivery partners receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver an order.
Our professional advisers, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.
Some of these providers store and process data outside Malaysia. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
08How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can honour a warranty and keep proper records. After that they are deleted.
Analytics data is held by Google and Microsoft for the retention period each provider applies, and is used in aggregate rather than as an individual record.
Anything stored in your own browser stays there until you clear it.
09Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, withdraw the consent you gave us, or ask us to stop using your details for direct marketing.
Write to pyt.global888@gmail.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line and enough detail for us to find your record. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. The PDPA allows a prescribed fee to be charged for a data access request.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Department (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi) of Malaysia.
10Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, and the services we rely on are established providers with their own security programmes. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
No website or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal data we will act on it, and notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
11Children
This site sells vehicle parts and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will make that clear on the site.
